A lot of waiting post race for “award”

The race was supposed to start at 9:15, but they started it at 9:08. The course in general was sandy at some points and forested in other points. Not marked … MORE
The race was supposed to start at 9:15, but they started it at 9:08. The course in general was sandy at some points and forested in other points. Not marked well. After the race I waited about 3 hours for an award. By that time I had asked for my award, not wanting to wait longer. The award for 1st place overall female was a coupon book for Dicks and a dog tag, not much of an award. It’s one thing to make donations a for racing, it’s another for a race to be cheap with setup, planning and awards.
