First half of this marathon was spectacular. Things were not quite as nice second half. Well organized, but I was a little surprised there was no food offered on the course. Tons of water/electrolytes stops, but no food.
Volunteers were numerous and awesome. I highly recommend this race.

Don’t expect a personal best here.

Laid back 5k through the village of Bristol, VT. You’ve gotta love a race that uses popsicle sticks at the finish to record your place. For a small town run, there were a couple hundred participants. The town is quaintly situated at the foot of a small mountain.

The race was well organized and the finish area is very well located to catch a subway. They ran out of Mylar blankets at the finish.

Really beautiful course along the Columbia River. Great support, lots of water stops, nit too many spectators. One negative is that it is a hal marathon course that you run in two loops as a full marathon. This was the inaugural running of this race.

You can go for a great time on a flat course, or just have fun jogging/walking and taking pictures with characters along the way.
