Great course with lively music throughout. The start line really gets you pumped up, and the finish line is one massive celebration. Some work is needed on communication leading up to the race and signage at the start and finish. Going into the race there were still a lot of questions and finding answers was tricky.

This race is all about fan support from the locals, offering drinks and food from their front lawns and driveways. Nice rolling hills give a little elevation challenge and a full tour of the city. Race swag was cool with a full jacket for the half or full runners.

With flames at the start and cheering throughout the course, this is a fun yet challenging race. With the chance to run through two states, the course starts flat and easy, but the climb up Eden Park really tests your training. All the aid stations were enthusiastic, with the locals showing true support. All this ends with a chance for a photo op with a pig at the end.

Can not say enough good things about this race. The turn into Times Square is thrilling with the run for the kids taking place right next to you. Truly the best NYC has to offer with a chance to see it all. Even on the FDR hearing support and seeing signs from all the overpasses keeps you going for all 13.1 miles.

The course is very scenic, hugging the Lake Michigan shoreline and starting and ending in Jackson Park. Fast and flat with some light hills near the turnaround. Great energy from locals, friends, and family. The post-race area was the highlight. Plenty of food and drinks to refuel after the race, music from bands, and the biggest medal I’ve ever seen at a race.

Amazing scenic course along the Columbia River. Rolling hills throughout the course make it a challenge worth trying. The finish area on an island in the river gives perfect scenery to take in while recovering.

The organizers really went all out this year. The medals were lost in the delivery process, but at the last minute they were able to get finisher water bottles made, and the medals were mailed to us after they were reordered.

The half course is perfect being a point to point route. Some rolling hills in the first mile, but then a flat easy course along Grand Traverse Bay. Great support from the aid stations and locals with Moomers ice cream at the finish line. Finishing on the high school track really highlights the strong connection to the community.

I heard good things about this race and that’s what attracted me to it. The hills near the start were a surprise, but then the course is flat running along Lake Ontario. Weather was gloomy that day, so not a whole lot of fan support on the course, but the finish was electric and reinvigorated me.
