What could be better than running along the California Coast in a nice summer mist? How about adding in some local color, Drums, Ukeleles, Bagpipes, Pots & Pans, and pop-up bands all along the course. Sprinkle in neighbors cooling you with hoses. Balloon Rainbows every mile? Then finishing in the sand with a wall of cheers encouraging you to “Chug” your finishing water. And to top it off Krazy George making an appearance.

This is my second formal time 1/2. My first 1/2 USA 1/2 was disappointing. This Wineshine blew me away. Everything was so very well organized, the swag was off the chart, and the events all were not crowded, I seriously could go on. We ran as VIPs and were treated like VIPS. My only disappointment was the happy hour was truly just an hour and I didn’t realize there was a speaker. I missed it completely. My Daughter in Law and I were talking about doing it again. The course was relatively flat until the finish when we had to run uphill. “Who does that?” LOL.
