My experience with and at CIM was amazing from start (registration) to finish line. this was my first Full Marathon. Between the website, facebook, and emails, I was completely informed on what to do, where to be, and what to expect. The Expo was well organized with lots of great vendors. Very happy with the race shirt and medal, both very nice! The race course was fun, fast, organized, with lots of friendly motivating people. All fueling stations seemed to be well stocked. My only complaint would be if I was racing with my spouse, or a mixed group of men and women, we would NOT be able to cross the finish line together. Men and women are separated before crossing the finish and I didn’t like that and I don’t understand the reasoning behind it.

Cowbell medal was nice. Prison grey shirt, not so nice. Didn’t care for running over a walking bridge. It shook real bad with all the weight of the runners and made me a little dizzy and unsteady. New course in 2017 and I plan to run it again
