This race was MUCH harder than expected/advertised. That isn’t just my opinion, all the runners I spoke with felt the same way. The biggest challenge is the SAND. 30-40% of the race is on sand and it starts early one so it sucks the energy out of your legs FAST. That said, if you go in with that in mind, the views are amazing!
