This is a really well run, well organized race that runs through part of downtown, Water Works park and Gray’s Lake. I have run this race for the past three years and it is one of the events I look forward to!
There are lots of cheering sections, entertainment and aid stations along the course. I highly recommend this race!

The 5 mile race was an enjoyable race–great scenery to run by Gray’s Lake. But, there was a major problem with this race. There were no signs or guides between miles 3 and 4. There were no signs or guides at a critical point on Gray’s Lake where we were supposed to switch off the walking path onto the street. A large number of us ended up running almost a mile off course before we realized what happened. So, our timing and placing was off. I ended up running 5.86 miles instead of 5 miles because of this. Next year, they really need more signs and guides to help people navigate the race course. I am not sure I would do this race again. It really left a bad experience for me.
