The race is so well-organized. I loved the swag, the customer service, the beautiful medals, route and the atmosphere in general. Despite the rain that tried to take us out … we were overcomers. The course is very hilly but the spectators made it tolerable. They were out there for us even in the pouring rain. What a wonderful event. I will definitely be back.

Starts as a trail race which caught me unprepared. Water stations are good about every 2 miles. The scenery and the lakes helps you forget any struggle you may be having. It is mostly a downhill course with a few uphills … but worth the discomfort. The packet pickup was a bit confusing to get to for parking purposes. The medal and shirt are awesome.

The packet pickup is excellent in that there is ample parking. The volunteers are everywhere providing assistance as needed. From the start of the race to the finish you have spectators cheeering you on. The swag and the medal are excellent. The weather made it a difficult race (cold and wet) but I will definitely do it again. What a wonderful organization puts this race on. For out-of-towners, there are several reasonably prices hotels nearby.

Excellent packet pickup. Ample parking and volunteers directing you to the start of the race. Spectators were outstanding despite it being a Friday night run. After party looked fantastic though due to the cold I didn’t participate. Swag and refreshments were wonderful. Again, volunteers are outstanding for the Christie Clinic weekend.

Packet pickup was conveniently located. Expo was nice and big. Austin is hilly as all heck and coming from Chicago, the hills were a bit of a challenge. The temperature on the other hand was cool yet not windy so made for a great run. I loved the volunteers, the spectators, the race organizers, and the after party. Due to the chilly temps I didn’t hang around too long, but for the short time I did, it was fun. If I did it again, I would definitely put in more hill training. Nonetheless, it was a wonderful race, a wonderful course, and one I would recommend.

Been running Miami half since 2017. The weather has been tough for 2 of the races, this being one. It was very hot and humid which made it difficult being that I’d been running in freezing weather in Chicago. The race itself is wonderful. The organizers do an exceptional job of taking care of the runners. The course takes you throughout the city and various neighborhoods. Spectators of pretty good and the participants are wonderful. The course is relatively flat with several bridges you cross over. I love running as the sun is coming up which reminds you of how blessed you are to be able to be out there running. The water stations are very fluent, seems like very mile. The after party is my favorite of all the races I have attended. The live Army band puts on a show like no other. The atmosphere is uplifting from start to finish. The view at the finish is wonderful as you get to take pictures along the beach. The refreshments and medal are the top of the line. Miami knows how to put on a good show and for that reason I will continue to keep coming back to this wonderful event!!!!

If you want to get out of the cold, come run in Miami. The packet pickup for the entire weekend of events is conveniently located. Volunteers help you every step of the way. The swag is wonderful as is the expo. As for the race, the 5k begins near the Children’s Museum and it is wonderful to start just as the sun is coming up. What a beautiful way to get your morning started. The spectators and volunteers at the water stations are great. You are well taken care of when you run Miami. The after party is at the beach so once again you get to take all these wonderful pictures while enjoying music and refreshments. The course is flat and except for the heat which can affect your running, it is a course you can get through relatively quick. Happy to say this is the first year in 6 years running Miami that I have PR’d. I was one happy runner.

I came to Denver from Chicago … where hills and elevation are not known. I knew I should have trained for what was coming. As the date of the race got closer I realized I was going to have to give it my best. And that is exactly what I did. Not my best time, but surely not my worse. The scenery was out-of-this world. This was the first race where I actually took pictures along the course to try to capture the beauty that surrounded the runners. The packet pick up was extremely organized. The organizers did an amazing job in making sure we were kept up to date on what to expect on race morning. By far, one of the greatest half marathons I have ever ran!
