The scenery along the course is beautiful. I thought the tech shirt and medal were nice. The volunteers were very enthusiastic. Unfortunately, the race director was condescending and sent way too many emails. A summary email right before the race would have been helpful. There was a lot of confusion at the start, and the awards ceremony didn’t happen as described. Getting my age group award was difficult. If I run another race in Hawaii, it won’t be this one.
