Cowtown is superbly organized from packet pickup, through the corralled start, along the course and to the finish. Ample refreshments are provided along with some of the best swag in the business. The shirts are top notch and colorful. The medals are always well portioned to the distance, creatively designed designed and contain all the commemorative detail necessary for display. After all, it’s a commemorative medal (not commemorative ribbon). I plan to run Cowtown for years to come!

This is a great way to start your Thanksgiving morning. The Cox Running Club Thanksgiving day run is always organized with very good support. The out-and-back course is scenic along the Trinity River. Any early start leaves plenty of time to finish and enjoy the rest of your day with family and friends. The medals are always colorful good commitment to detail. It’s a relatively small race, so finishers of every distance gets the same medal. This race, like all other Cox Running Club events, is very family friendly. Strollers are allowed.

Well organized. Great swag with superb, detailed medals. Lots is support from community/spectators and volunteers. I’ve run various distances at The Cowtown for 6 years and it has never been disappointing. I highly recommend The Cowtown! I plan to run it for years to come!
