This course is a great course, but the mud puddles were NO JOKE. The rain created large puddles and there were a couple where if you were crowded on the trail/course- you were forced to go into an area that was not clear of depth. There was one puddle that the drain pipe was hidden and when you think that you cleared it – you dropped knee deep into a leaf, dirt, sticks and muddy mess. Several people fell into the area and I know of a few that hurt their knee/legs because of the depth of the fall. It was a cold rainy day. Hopefully next year will be better. Given the fact that this was a great course to run – crossing fingers that the next race will be wonderful! Hopefully mother nature will give us better weather.

Great course to run, but instructions to get your bib to get to the starting line was a bit much. Then while running – there was a section of the course that had NO markings and no one to direct you and there was two different routes that you could take. And unfortunately, I waited until I saw someone to join them (I lost about 5 minutes of my overall time). Then the storm rolled in. It was a crazy time!
