To me, this is the perfect ultra race! Excellent organization with well-marked trails and well-run aid stations, breath-taking scenery, and a good mix of technical trails, easy trails, and flat roads. Although it’s a point to point race, a shuttle on race day morning from the hotel at the finish line makes it convenient even if running without a crew.

Fast and flat course. Surprisingly good scenery for Fargo–course went through beautiful old neighborhoods with flowering tress, parks, etc. Miles went by fast, especially as spectators lined most of the course. Overall a fun race with excellent organization.

Point-to-point ultra from Cleveland to Cuyahoga Falls. Course is primarily trail, ranging from flat paved bike paths to technical trails, going through 3 different park systems, with lots of woods and hills, and a few gorgeous waterfalls and rock formations. Excellent organization and trail markings.

Primarily trail course, with good mix flat of paved sections, easy trails and bridle paths, and technical trails, with a few stairs and stream crossings mixed in. Although this year (2013) there was a group of runners (me included!) who weren’t sure of the path due to sparse trail markers at one point, overall the course is very well marked and in subsequent years markings haven’t been an issue. Overall very fun course with excellent support, organizations, and aid stations!
