The Zeitgeist Half Marathon is open to walkers and runners. It starts and finishes in the Optimist Youth Sports Complex northwest of Boise.
The loop course is on paved roads with 1,181 feet of elevation gain over three hills. We offer 6 aid stations, including 8 portable toilets available along the course. Finishers receive a long sleeve, embroidered, moisture-wicking T-shirt and a finisher medal. Women’s shirts are v-neck and men’s shirts are crew neck.
We provide a nice post-race party with hot food, cold drinks, and a live band. While the menu is yet to be determined, we expect to offer similar fare as last year: baked, baby, baker potatoes, garden pasta, soup, apply crisp, Dawson Taylor Coffee, hot chocolate, chocolate milk, bottled water, limeade, and Highland’s Hollow micro-brewed beers.
