Wurzburg Marathon

The Wurzburg Marathon is the most beautiful marathon on the Main. The Wurzburg Marathon is one of the few Marathon events in Germany that is accepted for qualification for the Boston Marathon. Furthermore, we are flexible: changing from marathon to half marathon is possible, as long as the race is finished after 21.2 km.

Music bands and track celebrations entertain the runners and the visitors on the edge of the marathon. That is why a samba group will already entertain the runners on Saturday next to the Marathon-Expo at the CCW during the kids run. On Sunday a large number of samba groups, bands and disc jockeys cause high spirits and a cheerful atmosphere. At the end of the run cheerleaders will receive the lucky participants.
