Wild Florida Trail Run

First of all the goal for the Wild Florida Trail Run is for this to be THE MOST SCENIC ultra in Florida. To bring people from out of state to see things they didn’t know existed and to show local Floridians things they didn’t know existed in their back yards.

The 100 mile / 100K only repeats about 10 miles of trail. The 50K repeats about 6. You will pass through almost every environment in Florida MULTIPLE TIMES! The course uses a lot of the Western corridor for the Florida Trail.

The course takes place entirely in the Green Swamp. The Green swamp is a WILD AND BEAUTIFUL SPOT. It’s a MASSIVE public lands area owned by multiple land agencies. Its protects 4 major river watersheds.

The Wild Florida Trail Run donates $ to the Florida trail association each year. We also do a ton of trail work and host trail work days as we do with almost ALL our courses. Course is subject to change as are cutoffs and all details about the race. If race is stopped or canceled because of covid then we will defer your entry to this race for up to 3 years. However we have been given the 100% okay from the land owners. The only thing that would stop the race would be the government which Florida is opening up not shutting down.
