West Seattle Beach Run Summer Fling

The West Seattle Beach Run Summer Fling features a flat course that has potential for a distance or time personal best with fantastic views. Watch for Orcas, seals, sea lions, and bald eagles. The goal is to have fun! Add to your Marathon Maniacs/Half Fanatics tallies, train with others, and maybe even set a PB for time or distance. After costs all proceeds will be given to charity!

Start and finish will be at the south end of Lincoln Park in West Seattle, near Picnic Shelter Number 3, which is the southernmost covered picnic shelter down by the water.

The course will run along the sidewalks of West Seattle. Simply stay on the water side of the street.
1 out ‘n’ back = half Marathon, 25K
2 out ‘n’ backs = Marathon
2+ out ‘n’ backs = 50K

This course is open to traffic so stay on the sidewalk, keep your eyes peeled and exercise caution. Slow down when approaching dogs or seniors. There are no street crossings.

Drop bags can be left at the start/finish. Run your distance then hang out near Shelter #3 to cheer folks on and enjoy the views! We will have food and drink at the finish. If you want bring some goodies to share.
