Wausau Trail Run Wausau, WI   Jul 24, 2026

Located in central Wisconsin, the Wausau Trail Run takes place at Nine Mile County Forest. This is a Friday evening run which begins as the sun is about to set (lights required). Wausau Trail Run will be adopting a lap format in 2026, similar to Wausau 24 Mountain Bike Race. Each runner will complete 1, 2 or 4 laps with the course set at approximately 5K, providing 5K, 10K, and 20K options. We believe this format will provide a livelier atmosphere as runners come through transition in Dirt Town at the end of each lap. This run is sure to please all abilities on a combination of single track mountain bike and ski trails. Bring your lights and stay for the music, food and beer!
