Join us for the Victory Marathon, Half Marathon and 5K! Whether you want to qualify for the Boston Marathon or you want to experience a 5k in a very unique setting, we have something for you! The race is a flat, scenic course through a once secret historic military compound critical to the success of the Allied Forces in WW2. The compound supplied our military with explosives to help the United States win peace for the world during WW2. Our venue was then used to store many other military weapons throughout the early and mid 1900s. Now the Vermillion Rise Mega Park which has been repurposed for local industry retains many remants and evidence of Military ruins and manufacturing facilities!
Come join the Vermillion Trails Alliance at your most unique Marathon, Half Marathon and 5k as you race on paved roads past old outposts, TNT manufacturing buildings, VX nerve gas storage facilities, and military shooting ranges.
The entirety of the Half Marathon and 5k will take place on a single loop taking you throughout the Military compound. The fully certified Full Marathon is a 2-lap course
If you are a military veteran please email [email protected] for 20% off of your race entry. You will need to show proof of your service when you pick your race packet up if you receive a veteran’s discount so please be prepared to do that if you receive the discounted entry.

2023 Finisher Medal and Awards!
All event finishers will receive this amazing military themed finisher medal! And if you place in our award categories you will receive magnetic clip medallions to decorate your finisher medal! Come back each year to accumulate more medals to further decorate your finisher medal!
For past participants of the event we will be substituting your finisher medal for a 2023 clip on star medal so you can fill up your medal!
