Valley to the Sea Half Marathon, 5K & 10K

From the moment the gun goes off at Iao Valley Needle in Wailuku, you know you’re in paradise as the ocean surrounds you just feet away and whales breach from afar. Crossing the finish line will be one of the best moments of your life as well, as you finish your events and relax on the beach with breakfast and music.

It’s The Maui Valley To the Sea Half Marathon with 5K & 10K presented by Hawaii Elite Track Team/Runners Paradise – with spectacular views through the most beautiful setting in the world. It’s an entire event filled with competition and fun starting with the Half Marathon and 5K and 10K and ending when you cross the finish line on Hawaiian Islands Humpback Whale National Marine Sanctuary with live Hawaiian entertainment, food and awards. If that doesn’t motivate you to be in this event, nothing will.

Hawaii Elite Track Team, a non-profit organization, has been in existence since 1992. First established on Oahu, but now making its home here on Maui since 1996, Hawaii Elite Track Team has catered to the track and field youth community of Hawaii for now twenty years. Funds from this event will help fund clinics, camps, National meets, training, equipment and uniforms for these young athletes for years to come.
