We welcome everyone to attend and participate in the UMass 5K Dash & Dine run/walk to raise funds for the Amherst Survival Center! Over the years, we’ve been able to raise over $50,000 for the Survival Center thanks to all of our previous donors, runners and walkers! UMass Dining is proud to donate 100% of the proceeds for the run directly back into our community.

Amherst Survival Center
Benefiting partner is the Amherst Survival Center, a major asset to the campus community. The ASC serves close to 6,000 people per year and offer the Hampshire and Franklin counties a variety of services in addition to helping with food security on and off campus. The goal of the ASC is to provide a welcoming community where families and individuals who are struggling to make ends meet can come for food, clothing, health care and for companionship and relief from isolation. People are encouraged to share their material resources, information, concerns, and frustrations. No one is turned away!
