Warm up your Thanksgiving appetite with the Turkey Day Run Boise! The Turkey Day Run Boise brings family and friends together to start the day in a healthy way. Come dressed the part, and join runners, joggers and walkers for this lighthearted run. We can’t anticipate the weather, but we can guarantee fun.
Enjoy a scenic, 5K course with your family and friends in Downtown Boise! Walk, jog or run along the flat course, which starts on Main Street at 6th Street, heads through downtown and finishes on Capitol Blvd. and Idaho Street. Enjoy the finish area fun in front of City Hall.
Participants will be staged according to anticipated pace to ensure a safe and enjoyable race for everyone. Strollers are allowed, but must line up behind individual runners and walkers. Leashed dogs are also permitted and pet owners must line up with their dogs behind individual runners and walkers. Music players with headphones are allowed.
And remember to PLEASE BRING NON-PERISHABLE FOOD ITEMS TO PACKET PICKUP OR TO THE START AREA ON THANKSGIVING MORNING to help us fill up the Boise Rescue Mission and City Light Home for Women and Children pantries!
