Our foundation exists to support the students of the Tulare Joint Union High School District. From fun runs to auctions and dinners, we raise much needed money to enhance the academics, agriculture, art, and athletics — the 4 A’s. We are grateful for the generous support of our business and school community.
The continued excellence of our community’s secondary education has been an ongoing top priority. In pursuit of this goal, the Tulare Joint Union High School District (TJUHSD) Foundation supports our students and schools in the areas of academics, agriculture, arts, and athletics. One of the events held to provide that support is our annual TJUHSD Rivalry Run, a 5K walk/run that begins and ends at the Tulare Adult School location on K Street and travels up and down the Santa Fe trail.
Event t-shirts are given to all participants, as well as medals for the top three finishers in each age group. In addition, we encourage students at the different school sites to have friends and family participate by offering a perpetual trophy to the school with the most team members as a percentage of site enrollment and a $500 donation. The registration forms have a section for each participant to indicate their team of choice.
