Pros: reasonable price, flat, little/no traffic, pretty scenery, cool 13.1 finishers pin, no charge for race day packet pickup (it was the only option) Cons: little/no production value, no gear … MORE
Pros: reasonable price, flat, little/no traffic, pretty scenery, cool 13.1 finishers pin, no charge for race day packet pickup (it was the only option)
Cons: little/no production value, no gear check, race t-shirt not dated (it just looks like a St Patrick’s Day shirt can’t even tell a race was involved), repetitive course (same loop twice), 70% of the race is on loose gravel/dirt mixture, mile markers could use improvement (tiny, improperly placed, stopped at the 10K nothing beyond for half runners), not enough course volunteers or signage runners were getting confused specifically at the end of the 10K, some water stations closed early (the last station before the finish tried handing runners an entire bottle of water instead of a cup), no beer at the end of a St Patrick’s themed race, no snacks/bananas/gels etc., limited bathrooms (I don’t recall seeing anything out on the course not near the finish line)
Not a priority but I’d do it again…
