From race website: “Following thoughtful discussions with the City, PGA National, and the tournament team, we have concluded that the incorporation of the 5K event on Saturday during the Advance Tournament week would significantly impact our preparations and the ability to deliver the exceptional experience both you and our other runners deserve.
Balancing the hosting of the 5K alongside the intricate logistics of Tournament preparations would not allow us to provide the high-quality experience expected by golfers and runners alike. Consequently, we’ve chosen to temporarily to hit pause on the 5K and explore its possibilities for the future.”

The Classic in The Palm Beaches 5K welcomes runners and walkers of all ages and experience levels to enjoy a fun and exclusive race experience at the home of The Classic. The beautiful and historic Champion Course provides the picturesque path for our 5K and allows non-golfers to have the opportunity to take on the famed Bear Trap (Holes 15, 16, & 17) – no golf clubs necessary!
All proceeds from the race benefit Place of Hope. Place of Hope is the largest faith-based family-style, state-licensed children’s organization in the region. Children and families can find dignity, guidance and hope through various programs and efforts at Place of Hope – Placing Hope in a Child’s Future.
