The Brandon Bay Run is an epic ALL BEACH challenge, set entirely on the golden beach around Brandon Bay in the Kingdom of Kerry. Walk, jog or run in one of the most unique running events in the world, surrounded by the majesty of Mount Brandon, the Atlantic Ocean & the Slieve Mish mountains. Are you up for the challenge? If so, then join us as we hit the beach this summer.
This half marathon, 10k & 5k event is run entirely on the golden sandy beach that stretches around Brandon Bay in the Kingdom of Kerry – all the way from Fahamore in the Maharees, to Fermoyle point under Mt Brandon itself. The event starts and finishes at Fahamore in the Maharees and competitors doing the half marathon effectively run from one point of the 7 mile beach to the other and back on an ‘out and back’ course (Fahamore – Fermoyle – Fahamore). The event is being organised and run by Castlegregory Celtic F.C. and is a non-profit event. It is Ireland’s original running event ENTIRELY run on the beach!! What a challenge! To date we have had over 3000 participants take part from all over Ireland and the world!
Registration fee includes: event tech tee, bespoke event medal, race number & timing chip
