1. The map they emailed was unclear and when i asked for details/alternative copies, they seemed unconcerned and just referred me to the map. Pre-race email also led to #2:
2. Due to their own errors, my car was trapped behind the barricades for over an hour despite an urgent medical situation. When approached by staff, they were rude, argumentative, and gave conflicting directions.
3. Their timer must be broken or something. Despite being clearly ahead of the pack the entire race, their system recorded that i was at the bottom of the stack in all categories. Even with the additional time/pace they added, it’s not possible that i was toward the very end since i watched a ton of people come in after me. I even stopped my garmin late and it still gave me a time that was less than what their system recorded. Gave it two stars for the beauty (which i didn’t get to enjoy much of anyway since we were racing), otherwise i would have given the race a big fat 0.
