Finish the race and extend your trip in Jackson by visiting Grand Teton National Park, just minutes away, or visit Yellowstone National Park a couple hours north near Bozeman, Montana.
Cody Peak 50K Course
The Cody Peak 50K starts by taking the JHMR trails across the hillsides until you reach the top of Rendezvous Mountain. From Rendezvous Mountain, take the Upper Rock Springs Loop along the ridge line towards the summit of Cody Peak. Along this trail is technical terrain and steep climbing. There will be a rope assist at this section to use.
After reaching the Cody Peak summit, descend down (rope assist available) and make your way back down to the Upper Rock Springs Loop. Continue down a service road to the upper Rock Springs drainage. Descend on the “climbers trail” for ~4.5 miles until reaching Yurt trail and connecting back to Hoback Trail. The remainder of the course is in reverse to the JHMR base area.
The course will be marked with BLUE flagging, caution tape, chalk and more.
Total vertical gain is ~8,500 ft. with the highest point reaching Cody Peak at 10,770 ft.
Cirque 30K Course
The Cirque 30K begins by taking the Valley Trail up to the lower section of Wildflower Trail, merging into the Lower Face Loop and Yurt Trail. The trail continues back onto Hoback Trail, eventually crossing towards Seven Bridges. Continue up the mountain until you reach Solitoga Trail + Solitude Road. You’ll reach a maintenance road as you continue up the mountain towards the Teton Chair.
Take the Wildflower Trail until reaching the Gondola summit. Proceed up the Cirque Trail to reach the summit of Rendezvous Mountain (10,455 ft., mile 12). After reaching the summit, work your way back down the Upper Rock Springs Trail to a maintenance road that will guide you back to the Wildflower Trail. Descend until reaching the finish line. Miles 13-18 are located mostly on mountain single track trails.
The course will be marked with YELLOW flagging, caution tape, chalk and more.
Total vertical gain is ~5,500 ft. with the majority of gain in the first 12 miles.
Wild 15K Course
The Wild 15K starts by taking the JHMR running trails (Saratoga Trail) across the hillsides until you connect with the Wildflower Trail at the Casper Chair Lift. This junction will have an aid station. Zip down the Wildflower Trail and descend the switchbacks until reaching the finish line.
15K Runners will gain ~1,800 FT. over the first 5-6 miles and descend the same amount in the last 4 miles. This is a great beginner option for those who don’t want to reach the elevation or distance of the 30K.
The course will be marked with RED flagging, caution tape, chalk and more.
Aid Stations/Cupless
TMR is a cupless race, which means there will be no cups available at any aid stations. You may opt-in to purchase a lightweight, reusable, collapsible cup for $3. They will also be available to purchase on race weekend. Please plan your water needs accordingly as we aim to reduce waste with our events. Be prepared to fill your own water.
