Visit Teton Village at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort for a series of stunning mountain trail races: the Cody Peak 50K, Cirque 30K, and Wild 15K. The race courses will leave you breathless as you traverse the mountain and take in jaw-dropping views of the Grand Teton and surrounding vistas. Wildflowers are abundant along the courses, and fresh waffles from Corbet’s Cabin are provided to 50K and 30K racers at the Top of the World.
Make it an adventure with the whole family! Tram and gondola tickets can be purchased so you can get up the mountain fast and easily meet your runner along the course. There are also many activities at the base of the mountain going on all weekend. Extend your trip to Jackson by visiting Grand Teton National Park just minutes away, or visit Yellowstone National Park a couple of hours north near Bozeman, Montana.
Cody Peak 50K Course
The 50K starts by taking the JHMR trails across the hillsides. Head up the Wildflower trail from the start, connecting to the Tram Line and onto the Lower Face Loop. Cross the mountain on Seven Bridges to Saratoga. Head up the bike trails to reach the top of the Casper chair lift. Fuel up and start your climb up the Holey Moley trail to Casper Ridge Loop. Take the Cirque trail to Top of the World and eventually reach the base of Cody Peak from the Rock Springs Loop ridge line.
Scramble up the rock boulders to the summit and tag your bib at the top. Take in the views before descending down and starting the most technical portion of the course. You’ll reach a self-assisted aid station along a service road, and then descend down the climber’s trail for ~4.5 miles — an out-of-bounds section with scree and technical terrain. Reach the Yurt trail, connect to Hoback trail, and make your way to the Casper aid station (2nd time through) after passing the Lower Face aid station for your second time.
Leg burner ahead — Start your second climb up Holey Moley and arrive back down to Casper (3rd time through). From here, you’ll take a service road to Seven Bridges and run the Lower Faces Loop in reverse to the finish line.

Make your way up the bike trails to the top of the Casper chair lift. Fuel up — from here, you climb up the Holey Moley trail and reach a service road. Connect back to the trail reaching the top of the Bridger Gondola. Take the Cirque Trail and reach the summit of Rendezvous Mountain (Top of the World, Corbet’s Cabin Waffles). Take in the views before working your way down the Rendezvous mountain trail, connecting back to and descending down the Holey Moley trail (yes, the one you just climbed up). Enjoy the ride as you descend down to the finish line on the Wildflower trail.

15K Runners will gain ~1,800 FT. over the first 5-6 miles and descend the same amount in the last 4 miles. This is a great beginner option for those who don’t want to reach the elevation or distance of the 30K. However, this is not a walking or hiking course due to strict cut off times in place as the mountain bike course opens.
