Terrapin Mountain 50K & Half Marathon

The Terrapin Mountain 50k and Half Marathon is an established spring favorite for many runners. Although only the 50k is part of the Beast Series and Lynchburg Ultra Series (LUS), the half-marathon gives you a taste of what the longer version offers. Both races will introduce you to the challenging and beautiful trails around Terrapin Mtn, White Oak Ridge, Goff Mtn, and Hunting Creek.

Both races are part of the TrailRunner Magazine Trophy Series.

Terrapin Mountain 50k is event #2 in the Beast Series & LUS.

The Beast Series is an annual six-race quest that will test your endurance, grit, and sanity. Each race will take you through some of the most beautiful and rugged country the Virginia Blue Ridge mountains have to offer. The six races included are: Holiday Lake 50k, Terrapin Mtn 50k, Promise Land 50k, Grindstone 100, MMTR 50, & Hellgate 100k.
