Techcombank Hanoi Marathon

Join the Hanoi International Marathon and experience the highlights of Vietnam’s vibrant capital! Starting by the Opera House and finishing beside Hoan Kiem Lake in the heart of the city, Hanoi International Marathon will showcase the best of the capital. Run through thousands of years of history, past the ancient Citadel and centuries old pagodas. Enjoy a stunning 15km run around the peaceful shores of the expansive West Lake.

The Full Marathon course will begin at the Opera House which will be lit up in the early morning hours creating a beautiful start backdrop. From here runners will race through the French Quarter, along the major boulevards of Pho Hue and Ba Trieu before heading to Ba Dinh past the ancient Thang Long Citadel. The race then makes a full lap of West Lake with beautiful expansive lake views for most of this 15km section. After passing Truc Bach lake runners will race to the Old Quarter running along Dong Xuan and finishing at Hoan Kiem Lake.

The Half Marathon course will begin at the Opera House which will be lit up in the early morning hours creating a beautiful start backdrop. From here runners will race through the French Quarter, along the major boulevards of Pho Hue and Ba Trieu before heading to Ba Dinh past the ancient Thang Long Citadel. After taking a route to the south of West Lake runners will race to the Old Quarter running along Dong Xuan and finishing at Hoan Kiem Lake.

The 10km will see runners start at the Opera House which will be lit up in the early morning hours creating a beautiful start backdrop. From here, the race heads through the French Quarter, along the major boulevards of Pho Hue and Ba Trieu before heading north and finally entering the Old Quarter for a route through its heart to the finish line on Hoan Kiem Lake.

The race will be organised by Topas with the support of the Hanoi People’s Committee, Hanoi Department of Culture and Sport and the Embassy of Denmark.
