Tavern Cup 5K

Do you like to run? Do you get thirsty after your run… So thirsty that only the goldenest of nectar can quench your thirst? Yes, we are talking about beer! Many of us like to run with friends and comrades and say “hey, we should run for our favorite Bar!” Then join us for the ultimate beer run. The Legendary Tavern Cup Challenge! This time its a Friday Night 5k starting and ending at Farrell’s Bar in Prospect Park! A run where participants can not only run for themselves, but also tell us which is their favorite Bar. First Bar with the fastest co-ed team wins the coveted Tavern Cup Trophy!

The Tavern Cup Friday Night 5k will be a spectator friendly, one loop (3.1 mile) course in Brooklyn’s iconic landmark parks, Prospect Park! Pre and Post race will be held at the legendary Farrell’s Bar where we will have post race festivities and awards for: Age group, Overall, and Tavern Cup winners!
