I recommend doing this race if visiting Taipei as this race will not disappoint. As an overseas runner I didn’t have to do the lottery process so signing up was easy. The packet pickup and expo was crowded but one of the biggest expos I’ve seen in Southeast Asia. The race was organized with the course mostly flat however not a lot of spectators except at the start and end. Plenty of aid stations and at the finish was a lot of food and swag given. A singlet at packet pickup, a finisher shirt, towel, medal was nice and official times were available right away. Just keep in mind you only have 5:30 to finish the marathon.

I recommend doing this race if visiting Taipei as this race will not disappoint. As an overseas runner I didn’t have to do the lottery process so signing up was easy.
