Summerlake Loopy Marathon & Half Marathon

Come join us for a marathon and a half marathon run at Summerlake Park in Tigard, Oregon. This race will be the second race in the Firecracker Five following the 4th of July.

The course will be a 0.9375 mile loop around Summerlake Park. Each loop will start and stop at the covered area. A half marathon can be run by completing 14 laps. A marathon can be run by completing 28 laps.

The 7 Hour Ultra Marathon option will also be available for those seeking to run more than a marathon. The ultra marathon option will start at 7am (no early start) and will be completed at 2pm. Only completed loops will count. An ultra is accomplished when you complete 29 loops (27.18 mi) or more loops. For runners completing an ultra distance, you will receive a marathon medal and a special ultra medal. The male and female that complete the most loops in the seven hours will receive a first place award.

Each runner will recieve a finisher’s medal. The race will be capped at 100 runners. At least 25 spots are reserved for the marathon, at least 25 spots are reserved for the half marathon.
