The 50k race is a lollipop with 95% single track and about 6,500 ft of gain and the same loss. It has a great mix of technical, flat, rolling hills and climbing. The 10 miler is a loop that is 95% single track as well. It is technical in parts and rolling hills with no more than 1500 ft of gain.
Cutoff Times
The Stump Jump 50k will have an 10 HOUR cut-off. This averages out to over 16 minutes per mile pace. This is not a hike so please be respectful and do not sign up for this event if you plan to walk most of the course.
Cut off time for the 10 miler is 4 hours. This is not a walker-friendly course.

This is probably the most beautiful race that I’ve ever done. The mountains, waterfalls, and creeks made it a beautiful race. The race website says that this race has 6,500 ft of elevation gain but my Garmin said 7,500 ft. The aid stations were loaded with food and drinks. You get a T-shirt but no medal or buckle. You do get a free beer and Mexican food at the end. You will go up or down the mountains, little to no flat surfaces.
