I wanted to run in Minnesota and Stillwater is great town. Packet pickup (a local restaurant) was quick and easy. There were emails from the race production saying that the race course has been updated from years past. This included being bussed to the start line, which was fine. The run was mostly on a paved trail and then around and through town the last couple miles.

Beautiful area to run, the shuttle pick up to the state was smooth, course was clearly marked, lots of support and cheer at different parts, quick results and video finish. Somewhat hilly in parts. Only thing is I wish they would start the race 1-2 hours earlier. The sun rises at 5:30am and we didn’t run till after 8am.

Awesome race!. Most of it was run on the bike trail in Stillwater. We were bussed out to the start. Last 3 miles were on the roads leading into Stillwater and there were some pretty good hills. First 10 miles nice and flat, very shaded and rather fast.
