SPCA Florida Walk for Animals

Join hundreds of two and four-legged friends at SPCA Florida’s Walk for Animals at Lake Mirror. Your participation and fundraising for the Walk for Animals helps SPCA Florida care for more than 4,000+ homeless cats and dogs each year and provide affordable medical treatment to more than 68,500 animals annually.

Registration will begin at 8 a.m. with the lap around Lake Mirror at 9 a.m. Registration is $35 and includes a limited edition t-shirt, Bow Wow Breakfast, and entry into all the canine demonstrations and contests, which include prize baskets. Walkers can enjoy main stage entertainment and demonstrations. The dog-friendly, family-fun event includes a bounce house, face painting, food, and specialty vendors.

Walkers are encouraged to raise money to help homeless pets and compete for prizes and awards. Co-workers, friends, and families can form a team online and compete for additional awards. Funds raised help SPCA Florida care for more than 7,000 homeless dogs and cats every year.

Dogs participating in the event should be social and well-behaved, current on rabies vaccinations, and kept on a 6-foot or shorter non-retractable leash. The Walk for Animals is made possible by generous sponsors and donors.
