Shepparton Running Festival

The Shepparton Running Festival is run on the region’s best sealed, scenic pathways as they wind their way along the banks of the Goulburn and Broken Rivers. An ideal event for the first-time marathon entrant or those looking for their PB on a flat, fast course. Cash prizes for all events.

The Marathon is a 3-lap course which closely follows the the Goulburn and Broken Rivers running through Shepparton along the sealed, shared pathways. The course is essentially flat with undulations around the river banks. An ideal event for the first time marathon entrant and fast for the experienced. The course is well marked and marshals are stationed at crucial points. Drink stops are plentiful on the course.

The Half-Marathon course comprises one full lap and one half lap of the Marathon course. The 10km run takes competitors along the Goulburn river portion of the Marathon and Half-Marathon courses.

The 5km event is a great one for those starting out as runners as well as families, friends and social groups who are keen to run or walk for a great cause. The 5km follows the river closely and then comes back along Lake Victoria.
