Shades of Death Half Marathon & The Devil’s Run Allamuchy Township, NJ   Oct 8, 2017

The Shades of Death Half Marathon and 6.66K Devils Run will be held this October. Both races will be using the same course and will be included in the New Jersey New Balance – Grand Prix.

Shades of Death road has been featured on Weird NJ, WeekinWeird.com and The Road Trippers. This unique road has many different spooky legends that come along with it. Not only does it run along one of the most haunted lakes in New Jersey, Ghost Lake but it also is said to give off a fog that will make ghosts visible to the blind eye. The road is also said to be cursed due to the plague that eledgidly started from the poisoned waters. BUT! among everything else this scenic road has many beautiful sights and features which makes it perfect for our event.

​100% of the proceeds will be going to Allamuchy Township, School District and USATF New Jersey.
