This was of course over 5 years ago… It was the inaugural event put on by a Scouting group, not a running group. It had hiccups. But as a FIRST TIME half marathoner, I didn’t recognize all of them for what they were. Now, I can see them. The location of the event has changed to Parkville, MO, and they are HOPING to get back to offering a half marathon, but are waiting for a trail completion that seems to never come. Anyway, currently this event only offers a 5K, a 10K and a “15K challenge” where you run both. They have good food pre and post event and nice medals. Friendly people. Worth your time, and ALWAYS WORTH supporting the Scouts!!

This was of course over 5 years ago… It was the inaugural event put on by a Scouting group, not a running group. It had hiccups.
