Runatolia Marathon

Runatolia Marathon started first in the name as Runantalya International Antalya Marathon with 850 people to create a difference in the Turkish oTurism and contribute the winter tourism in the year 19.03.2006. Organizations which increase every year with the high attendance; succeeded from domestic and every corner of the World for 11 times.

After 2005 it passed into the Turset Project Management which is one of the most prominent firms with the name Runatolia. Runatolia Marathon has become irreplaceable with the contribution to the Country’s and City’s tourism and introduction.

Runatolia Marathon which is shown interest by the Amateur runners who have small competition experience beside it addresses to the pro runners; is an ideal race with its features like being the season’s starting race and its seasonal features. In additions to ıts sportive features; it is the biggest life-style marathon and 3 days long sport festival with many part activities and entertainments.

Runatolia, which is organised every March, is considered one of the most loved runnings in case of combining sport and holiday, ıts direct track, city beauties through the road and with ıts including Antalya’s World famous beach. Runatolia Marathon will be held in memory of Zeynel Murat Batur, with approximately 10,000 runners with the different distances on Sunday and 4,000 participants in the Terracity Run on Saturday.
