This is such a fun run, it should be thought of as more of a run as opposed as a race as there is no timing (besides what I kept on my phone). The race began about 15 minutes late and the weather was cool with a light rain. The run starts at the gates to the vineyards which they open as the official start, you run along paved road for the first half and then through the vineyards the remaining second half. There was a water station halfway where cheerful people handed out mini water bottles. You finish the run by going through an archway and are handed a full size bottle of water. An option of white or red estate wine in a souvenir stemless wine glass inside the same room as the packet pickup was before the race. You had to show your id at packet pickup since wine is given post race and you also received a soft v-neck gray t-shirt. Overall, it was a very fun event, I ran with my friend and had a great time. This is not a competitive field, the majority of the field were women and walkers.
