Run 4 the Hills for First Responders

The annual Run 4 the Hills for First Responders is a challenging 4 mile run/walk through the historic village of Sharon Springs and surrounding countryside, located at the edge of the Catskill Mountains, overlooking the beautiful Mohawk Valley in upstate NY. The event benefits Hero Fund America, Inc., our Duty Gear Challenge winners, and the Sharon Springs Rescue Squad. Hero Fund America supports education, training & life saving equipment needs for first responders.

Fire, Rescue and Law Enforcement Departments are welcome to participate in the Duty Gear Team Challenge (3 person minimum, in turnout/duty gear, present race day) and compete for Cash Prizes ($1,000 for EACH division -Fire, EMS & Law Enforcement, based on best overall team time) along with medals (1st, 2nd, 3rd place) for individual first responders in each division. New Balance will be offering 3 pairs of sneakers to the first male and female finishers, along with a drawing for the third. A Student plaque will be awarded to the School Team with best overall time, and a Community Team trophy awarded to largest participating team (business or any group). We are also offering prizes for the top 3 individual fundraisers or fundraising teams!
