The Rockaway Running Series is an extension of the Rockapulco Summer Series which started in 2001. After many years of mostly locals enjoying boardwalk racing in the summer we decided to expand the program to a full calendar of events including the Rockaway Half Marathon.

The Rockaway Track Club is a running club open to all-comers of all abilities. Young and young at heart, beginners, novices, casual as well as serious competitive runners are all welcome to join. This is a community-minded group who help when we can, using our runs to benefit local charitable causes.
