This was my first A Better World Running event. I signed up because I was too sick to run my race the weekend before and this looked like a decent, inexpensive option. The half course was two loops around the park and adjacent golf course. The turn around contained the only aid station. The medal was pretty nice, didn’t get a t-shirt because those cost extra. It was chip timed and results were online later in the evening. They also upload free pics to Facebook. Pretty good value considering I paid $40 to sign up the week before. I’ll definitely do another one of their events if I need to sign up for something in SoCal last minute.

This was my first A Better World Running event. I signed up because I was too sick to run my race the weekend before and this looked like a decent, inexpensive option.
