The Redwood Trail Run (formerly Cinderella Trail Run) course travels through beautiful Redwood Regional Park. Enjoy spectacular views along the East Ridge and West Ridge trails and wind through tall redwoods on the popular Stream and Bridle trails
Aid Stations
Fully-stocked aid stations every 3 – 6 miles. You can expect fresh fruit, salty snacks, assorted candy, water, and Clif Shot Electrolyte sports drink. It is highly recommended that runners carry at least 20 oz. of water between aid stations.
Cupless
In an effort to reduce waste and litter, we hope to have your assistance in going cupless. We request that you bring your preferred mean of containing water during your run and at the aid stations. We will have some Hydrapak SpeedCup ($5) and Coastal water bottles ($5) for sale at check-in.
Please note that there will no longer be pre-filled cups of hydration at the aid stations. In case you really need a disposable cup, please request one from the aid station volunteers. We ask that you use only one. Thank you!
Awards
T-shirts will be given to all pre-registered runners. All finishers will receive a custom medal and 50 Km finishers will also receive a custom coaster.
The top 3 male and female overall winners of every distance will win an award and race credits to future Coastal races:
- 1st Place – $50
- 2nd Place – $35
- 3rd Place – $20
These race credits are valid for 3 months from date of issue and is for one time use only.
Top three finishers in each age group and gender will receive award medals.

This is a great course for someone interested in trying a trail race. It has everything – beautiful redwoods, sweeping views, quad-blasting uphills. The finish area has lots to motivate you to the end – drinks (including beer!) and hot soup/chili.
I ran the 30K which is basically the half course with the 5 miler tacked on for good measure – it’s hard leaving the finish area to go back out after the half and finish the 5 miler. But the challenge has brought me back 2 years now.
The 50K is the half loop twice plus the 5 mile loop.
