The course was not as initially communicated. Basically ran back and forth several times on the same park path. As I recall each leg was about 2 miles. I thought we would run near past white rock lake. I started getting confused on how many times I had run the out and backs. The Gatorade was pretty much colored water. Glad I had my own camelbak that day. The volunteers were great. Happy that some kind of fluid was being handed out. It was hot but at least there was some shade in the park. Not much swag. It was a heavy cotton tshirt. Would not wear that in the July weather. Some granola bars offered at the end. I would say no to running this race again.
