RC2 Community Runs

The RC2 Community Runs have been a staple event in the Ripon area for more than 10 years. The races will start and end at Vines & Rushes Winery and uses the newly reworked Mascoutin Valley Trail, a 10.9 mile limestone trail on a former railroad bed north of Ripon. Entrants may choose to run or walk a half-marathon, 10K or 5K. Registration fees vary based on the event.

The RC² (Ripon College, Ripon Community) Community Runs were originally created as a partnership between the community and Ripon College. Ripon College Professor Dr. Hatcher teaches a class on motivation with the option of training and completing a half marathon. The event has grown over the years to bring together Noon Kiwanis, Ripon Rotary, Ripon Medical Center, Ripon College and other community members.
