This is nice, low – key run through Mile Square Park in Fountain Valley. This is always a beautiful place to run and the total amount of runners (only 86 per the published results) meant no overcrowding on the public paths. They ran this entirely on the paved paths and started from the Forest Shelter location. This is located on the corner of Euclid and Warner.
Timing was conducted the old fashioned way. You run into a chute, they record your time and someone grabs your tag from your bib. This was run number 196 since 2012 and I can’t remember the last time I ran a manually timed event. Works for me!
