Railway Marathon & Half Marathon

Looking for a fast, certified race with a great chance for a PR? This event is for you! This race is great for carbon shoes too!

Starting at Black Creek Park in Fultondale, AL, this marathon & half marathon will be held on the Five Mile Creek Greenway, a rails-to-trail project located 15 minutes north of Birmingham. Runners will race through the Cities of Fultondale, Gardendale, and Brookside on this flat, fast course.

The event is a USATF certified (Boston Qualifier), chip timed and fast, fast, fast.  We venture to say it is one of the fastest marathon and half marathon routes in Alabama!

Join to possibly set your new PR. If not, you will still be helping Unless U who work to continue education and create job training for adults with special needs.

The cut-off time for all events is 6 hours. This cut-off time includes the 50K.
