Ragnar Trail Arkansas is back this April! The venue, Centennial Park, is located just 10 minutes from the heart of vibrant and charming downtown Fayetteville.
Teams of 8 (or 4) will set out to conquer three incredibly unique, clean single-track trails. You’ll run up and around the rollercoaster of world class mountain biking trails at Centennial Park. Runners will also flow through the lush forest of Kessler Mountain, surrounded by granite slabs, vibrant moss, and breathtaking views of the Ozarks.
When you’re not out there cruising through the course, you’ll kick it with your team as you camp under billions of stars at Ragnar Village. Rest your legs next to the campfire, chow down on s’mores, and relax with your team. Come early for a bonus day of camping, campfires, and fun!
All three loops start out from the Village, spending about a quarter mile on a slight incline heading towards the wooded adventure in front of you. Just after your friends on the Red Loop say ‘see you later’, you’ll also waive goodbye (for now) to your friends on the Yellow Loop as you run headfirst into the single track in the woods.
With an initial short climb out of the way and hitting the highest point on the course, you’ll fly down the single track, bobbing and weaving around corners, over a few short speed bump hills and then just before you get to that 3/4 mile mark, you’ll see it – your first true climb of the loop. It’s steep, but it’s short and then you’ll get that wonderful, flowy downhill again before hitting repeat and doing similar climbs two more times.
After that wonderful breeze flowing through your locks on your third major downhill section, you have just one more major climb as you make your way out of the woods and rejoin your friends from all of the other loops, and did we mention there’s an other hill to climb? But the views from this one are truly top notch – look over the entire campground and Village area before turning it on and finishing your loop.
