Quicksilver Trail Challenge

Hosted by the Quicksilver Running Club for many years, the Quicksilver Trail Challenge offers some challenging yet rewarding races in historic Almaden Quicksilver County Park. The event includes three races: a 10K, a Half Marathon, and a one mile Kids Fun Run on single track trails and fire roads. Throughout the park you will find much to see, including the quicksilver mines, historic landmarks, peaceful oak forests, wide-open meadows, and scenic ridges with spectacular views of the Santa Clara Valley and the Santa Cruz Mountains. Although the course is challenging, the friendly aid stations and beautiful scenery make the Quicksilver Trail Challenge an excellent choice for both novice and experienced trail runners.

The half marathon course is designed like everyone’s favorite haircut, it has monster hills at the start and fast trails at the end. Sure to be a fun challenge for even the experienced trail runner.

The Quicksilver Running Club strives to be one of the “best runs for your buck.” We are a 100% volunteer, non profit organization. Over the years the Quicksilver Running Club has contributed to various charities. The Quicksilver Challenge will once again benefit AchieveKids Schools, located in East Palo Alto and San Jose.
